Detoxing 2020

This conceptual food photography series proposes a new perspective on the classic New Year’s resolution diet. Inspired by the 2019 COVID health crises, this visual detox proposes a conceptual cleanse of the pandemic from our systems.

Here we see everyday cleaning objects — mop bucket, plunger, dustpan, sponges — composed with fresh fruits and vegetables. 

An artistic way of digesting an era of ill-health, this series celebrates the possibility of a fresh year of wellbeing.
